Fire crews are battled two blazes that have broken out on Marsden Moor this afternoon

Our crews are tackling a large fire on Saddleworth Moor near Greenfield.Please avoid the area while crews tackle the blaze. Residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed.
West Yorkshire Fire Service have also posted
the service said: “10 crews remain at both scenes on Marsden Moor, covering Deer Hill and the Five Mile Post areas, supported by specialist wildfire teams.
“Members of the public should continue to avoid the area and expect road closures in the surrounding area while crews work to bring both wildfires under control.”
Crews from across West Yorkshire remain at both wildfire scenes, using blowers to dampen down and extinguish the moorland fires.
