Police in Swinton are threatening people with fines after multiple instances of people disobeying the Lockdown rules in Victoria Park.
GMP Swinton and Little Hulton tweeted “We have received multiple reports of social gatherings in Victoria Park, Swinton. As such, Patrols within the park will be stepped up this afternoon / evening & Officers will issue Fixed Penalty Notices to anyone found in breach of the social gathering guidance”
They described the incidents as “a blatant breach of the Government guidance and putting others within our community at risk.
