A dull walkway in Marple was transformed into a beautiful outdoor art gallery

Art Stop CIC worked with the Marple Vision Team on the makeover, replacing three redundant black panels between Superdrug and Iceland with 125 showstopping works of art.

Every piece of art was created by a member of the community, ranging in age from 4 to 86 years old.

By taking art outdoors, the project brought people together, inspired them to get creative, and gave them an opportunity to give back to the community. The gallery has become a great place for people to meet, strike up a conversation, and marvel at the creative talent in Marple’s community
