The social dining menu features innovative new dishes from the farm,the sea and the allotment

The new Autumn menu is available from Thursday 29 th September

The Northern Quarter’s Ducie Street Warehouse is a one-stop destination for the city’s restaurant dining, bar drinking, and entertainment space – from art installations and exhibitions, DJ collectives & headliners, cinema screenings, and everything in between – with something for everyone.

This Autumn, from Thursday 29 th September, Ducie Street Warehouse brings a seasonal
change to its social dining menu, with innovative new dishes from the farm, the sea and the allotment. The new dishes feature wholesome and hearty dishes for everyone to tuck into as the winter nights draw in, designed by Head Chef Andrew Green.

Some of the new menu highlights include Local Game with red wine and herb sausages,
caramelised sweet potato and onion gravy; King Prawn and Queen Scallops with chilli and
garlic, parsley; Seared Sea Bass Fillet with stem broccoli, tomato and chilli salsa; Honey and Walnut Burrata with friarielli, spiced butternut squash and truffle; and Chargrilled Hispi
Cabbage with shallot and caper salsa.

The social dining concept is born out of the warehouse’s ethos of bringing people
together – with a menu dedicated to sharing and to be social over. It is simply a
relaxed and good dining experience for everyone to be together, from couples,
friends, groups, families, and everyone in between.

From the Farm menu: Chilli, sesame and peanut Gochujang chicken with chilli and
miso dip; Lamb Kofta’s with beetroot hummus, pickled cucumber and crumbled feta;
8oz Matured beef Picanha steak with smoked butter and spinach; Local game with
red wine and herb sausages, caramelised sweet potato and onion gravy; Crispy
duck spring rolls with plum and lemongrass dip; Pumpkin tortelloni with fennel
sausage and sage cream; Char siu glazed pork chop with baby apple and crispy
kale; and W H Frost Butchers DSW 8oz beef burger with seeded brioche, aged
cheddar, sweet pickle and Sriracha mayo.

From the Sea menu: Salt and pepper Calamari with chive and roquito aioli and
lemon; DSW famous lobster macaroni with lemon and herb pangritata; King prawn
and queen scallops with chilli and garlic, parsley; Crispy Manchester Union battered
fish sharers with minty mushy peas and lemon; Black sesame seared salmon with
Asian greens and soy dressing; and Seared Sea bass fillet with stem broccoli,
tomato and chilli salsa.

From the Allotment menu: Sweetcorn and coriander fritters with tomato relish; Crispy
potato gnocchi with vegetable ‘nduja, olives, capers and San Marzano tomato;
Honey and walnut burrata with friarielli, spiced butternut squash and truffle; Chickpea,
spinach, sweet potato and coconut dhal; Garlic scented wild mushrooms with spinach,
toasted sourdough and lemon oil; Asian style tender stem broccoli with sesame and soy;
Chargrilled hispi cabbage with shallot and caper salsa.

The Dessert menu include Gingerbread stick toffee pudding with Cheshire farm ice cream;
Lemon meringue with raspberry; Salted caramel ‘Werther’s Original’ crème brulée with
shortbread; Blossom espresso martini tiramisu; Rich chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream
and Amarena cherry; Warm apple and blackberry crumble with apple sorbet; Cheese of the
week with homemade preserve and biscuits; and Affogato with Blossom Artisan Coffee
poured over luxury Cheshire farm ice cream.

The social dining menu also include a collection of starters and side dishes. From
Roasted beetroot hummus and crispy chickpea with crumbled feta and dukkah;
Freshly baked rosemary and rock salt Focaccia with aromatic melted butter; to
Spiced butternut squash and walnut salad; and ’24 hour’ shoestring fries where in
season potatoes are locally sourced from Masseys farm in Cheshire, delivered and
served to table in 24 hours.

Towering above Ducie Street Warehouse, with its cast-iron columns and exposed
brickwork, is the award-winning Native Manchester aparthotel, with all the benefits of
apartment living coupled with the service and flexibility of a hotel. Guests at Native
Manchester will also be able to click and collect the menu from Ducie Street
Warehouse and host their own social dining in the comfort of their own apartment.

All housed within the stylish surroundings of the Grade II listed building, Ducie Street
Warehouse and Native Manchester, are right in the heart of the city centre – a
destination hub of creative concepts with something for everyone.
