Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been left out of England’s provisional squad for Euro 2024.

Manager Gareth Southgate said briefly in the post announcement press conference that “I just feel other players in that area of the pitch have had better seasons. That’s it”.

The 33 man squad will be cut to 26 before the tournament gets underway

Luke Shaw, Harry McGuire and Robbie Mainoo will represent United while John Stones,Kyle Walker,Phil Foden and Jack Grealish will represent Manchester City
