Forget beaches, bikinis and The Balearics, this year it’s all about the British staycation and luxury boutique Dakota Hotels has announced the UK’s most premium staycation experience which comes in at £2,500.
Dakota Hotels’ new Summer Staycation package promises a luxury, hotel experience like no other and is encouraging Brits to stay local and explore some of the UK’s best locations.
For the £2,500 price tag, guests will receive an overnight stay in a suite for two at each of Dakota’s five stylish hotels based in Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and Leeds, with a fully cooked breakfast in bed the next morning and late room checkout– ideal if you’ve been partying the night before.
Alexa Cherry, from Dakota Hotels said, “Our Summer Staycation package is the perfect way to explore four of the UK’s top cities this summer. We want people to come stay with us and really get out there and experience what the amazing food, drink and culture the UK has to offer, within each of our key city locations.”
To mark the Summer Staycation package, Dakota Hotels has launched a competition where one lucky winner will enjoy five overnight stays in addition to over £2,000 worth of luxury added extras at each of the five hotels.
At Dakota Manchester, the winner will be chauffeur driven to premium department store, Selfridges, where they will receive a £100 gift voucher to spend in-store and will receive an arrival bottle of Champagne and small plates on the hotel’s stunning heated Dakota Terrace.
In Leeds the winner will receive Afternoon Tea in the Dakota Bar followed by a Champagne reception in Salon Privé – the city’s coolest cocktail bar and terrace overlooking the bustling Greek Street.
Moving up North to Scotland, the winner will enjoy welcome cocktails at Jacks Bar and a chef’s tasting menu experience with an exclusive bottle of Dakota selected wine at the hotel groups’ Glasgow hotel.
Finally, across to the West of Scotland, Dakota Eurocentral in North Lanarkshire is offering a Romance Package on arrival which includes Champagne and chocolates, followed by a three-course meal at Dakota Grill and finally to Dakota Edinburgh where the winner will win a whisky tasting with canapes followed by dinner at the Dakota Grill.
