Bury North MP James Daly is now one of 45 ministers to have quit Boris Johnson’s Government

Daley has resigned as PPS for the Department of Work and Pensions telling the Prime Minister in his resignation letter that it has become clear that you are unable to lead the Government and deliver on the policies that will create opportunities for all adding that he had therefore lost confidence in the Prime Minister

Earlier the Conservative Bolton MP Mark Logan quit his position as Private Parliamentary Secretary writing that decisions made have ‘not sat well with me’ in his notice, adding ‘there is only so much myself and constituents can ignore’.
