A driver from Bury was stopped yesterday by Cumbrian Police and issued with a fixed penalty notice after he admitted he was driving to Dundee to buy a puppy.
Cumbria Road Police said on twitter
“Again, not an essential journey. The driver agreed he wouldn’t have made this journey when lockdown commenced.”
