Europe’s Largest major new creative container enterprise is coming to Manchester, with Bromley Yard set to provide over 250 studios, workshops and independent business spaces for the city’s creative community.
Construction is now underway, with the first phase on track to open in September 2026.
More than 90 containers will be delivered as part of phase 1, with applications now open for creatives and independent businesses looking to secure a space.
Developed by Meanwhile Creative, who currently supports over 1500 studios nationwide, with sites across Bristol, Manchester, Cardiff and Norwich.
The site will include 20ft containers, 40ft containers, Lock Up Studios, music spaces, workshops, retail opportunities and spaces suited to a wide range of creative uses.
A spokesperson for Meanwhile Creative said:
“Manchester is full of brilliant independent creatives and businesses, but finding affordable space can be one of the biggest barriers to getting started.
Bromley Yard is our answer to that. It is space for independents, built by independents. We want it to be somewhere people can start small, grow at their own pace and be part of a community doing the same.”
Applications for Bromley Yard are now open. To support the first wave of tenants, Bromley Yard is also offering an early bird discount for the first 50 successful applicants, giving them 50% off rent for their first 2 months.
