Britain’s oldest living resident has died at the age of 109
Arthur Espinall lived through the reigns of four British monarchs and 24 prime ministers.
Arthur was born in Bolton in 1916 and lived there his entire life
He spent almost his entire life working at his father’s company a forging business manufacturing bolts and fasteners in Bolton. Arthur then went on to join the firm at 14 and was promoted to foreman by 16
