Gin-lovers can delete Tinder as there’s a new matchmaking service for fun loving singles on the market – and it’s all based on GIN!

Developed by master-mixologists of Boë Gin, GINDER is designed to help you avoid romantic red flags using lux cocktails that are matched to personality traits. The service will be trialled for the first time in Manchester this Valentine’s season and will see singles couple-up based on matching colourful cocktail flavours

Stanford University research revealed last year that over 40% of couples now meet online, and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we know singles will be turning to dating apps to swipe their ideal match.

But since face-to-face connections are becoming endangered, Boë Gin have developed a new matchmaking service that encourages singles to get out and meet people in real life this Valentines – no swiping necessary.

The master-mixologists behind the gin have developed a unique matchmaking mechanic where singles are coupled up using colourful gin cocktails inspired by the Boë flavour range, that best reflect their personality traits, and what they look for in an ideal partner.

The singles service will be trialled for the first time at Manchester’s Atlas Gin Bar this Valentines (Thurs 13 Feb) – where gin experts will be on hand to play cupid with dating advice, and instead of selecting from the average cocktail menu, singles will fill out a personality questionnaire curated to identify their ideal lover.

From the answers provided, the bartender will create a colourful lux cocktail which doubles as a distinctive beacon to attract suitors with the same traits – using the vibrant Passion, Violet, Peach & Hibiscus, Scottish Bramble, Classic, and Spiced Orange flavours.

‘We’re offering a chance of true Boë-mance for singles this Valentine’s Day with our colourful cocktail matchmaking service. Each of our gins has a vibrant personality, but we believe there is a perfect pairing for everyone out there – both for a favourite tipple and hopefully in their romantic lives as well.

We want to encourage singles during this season to step away from the dating apps and celebrate with friends – who knows, you may even make a connection over a cocktail.’ (Carlo Valente, Director of Boë)

The gin brand will be keeping track of connections made through the service and will roll out the GINDER mechanic in more cities around the UK for gin-loving singles.

The first Boë Gin matchmaking event will take place at Atlas Gin Bar in Manchester’s Deansgate on Thursday 13 February, 19:00-22:00.

To participate, people can visit and order the Boë Gin personality questionnaire. More information available here.
