Police searching for missing man Alfred Sykes have sadly found a body.
The 80-year-old from the Stockport was last seen around 4.20pm last Wednesday in the Davenport area.
The body was discovered in grounds off Cromley Road in Woodsmoor.
Formal identification hasn’t taken place yet but officers believe it is Alfred and his family have been informed.
