BLVD (Boulevard) Manchester, the high-end drinking and dining concept is now officially open in Spinningfields and has unveiled its sophisticated dining menu.

By day, a modern dining room with a stylish ambience, the tantalising food menu is served
daily from 12:00 – 22:00 and takes inspiration from the New York meatpacking district,
which is a collection of fresh food warehouses receiving imports from all around the world.

There is a beautifully inspiring combination of different cuisines including Japanese-
inspired sushi, pan Asian, sashimi, seafood and meat dishes.

To start, the choice of 13 elegant small plate dishes, including the BLVD signature ogura
and green tea loaf, oysters (gin and tonic, spicy or ponzu), chicken bang tang dressed with
lime and coriander, vegetable tempura with teriyaki and togarashi and sesame glazed pork
with bao buns, soy and sesame.

Another speciality to try is the BLVD black corn tacos with the choice of five delicious
fillings including lobster with Asian slaw and Sriracha, Baja seabass with pickled green
mango, pomegranate and lime, tuna with avocado and pickled cucumber, the black widow
with soft shell crab and wakame salad and spicy black bean shiitake with coriander and
cherry tomatoes.

An exquisite selection of sushi and sashimi redefine Asian culinary classics, with sashimi
and sea urchin caviar – sea urchin, beef, black truffle and wasabi, sushi burger with
salmon, smashed avocado and Sriracha mayo, raw bar platter with tuna tartar, sushi roll,
oysters, scallop, ceviche and crab tian and uramaki – salmon roe, cucumber and sesame.

For the main event, large plates include lobster dan dan with brown butter truffle foam,
miso-marinated black cod with ginger soubise and crispy quinoa, tofu steamboat with bok
choy, shiitake mushrooms and snow peas, teba shio chicken with cauliflower, shiitake
mushroom and crispy kale and fillet steak with marrow bone, oyster sabayon, and girolle
mushrooms.

For dessert, a grand display of sweet treats including warm chocolate and peanut butter
skillet brownie, rain cake 2 ways with raspberry, matcha and brown sugar syrup, cloudy
cheesecake with strawberry and candy floss and the show-stopping Marshmallow
campfire with meringue, chocolate and open flames.

Alongside redefined Asian-inspired cuisine, BLVD Manchester provides a cutting edge
twist to the bar with an array of signature and classic cocktails, fine wines, spirits and
beers.

Signature Cocktail highlights include The Breakfast Martini – Beefeater gin, orange
marmalade and Cointreau with lemon zest, Highline Fizz – Kwai Feh, William Fox Rose
and prosecco with lemon, Midtown Cooler – Capucana Cachaca, William Fox Hibiscus and
Schweppes 1783 with watermelon and Sunset Boulevard – Disaronno Amaretto, coconut
rum, Orgeat orange, pineapple, raspberry and orange.
