Oreo a biscuit lover?  Will only a Jammie Dodger do it?  There are few better partnerships than a nice cuppa and your favourite biscuit but expert blenders Bird & Blend Tea Co. have gone one better by unveiling a limited edition and brand new range of biscuit flavour teas.

To feed the nations love of the sweet treats this National Biscuit Day on 29th May, blends include Chocolate Digestives, Gingernut Biscuit, Jammy Dodgers, Caramelised Biscuit, Custard Cream, and Cookies & Cream so there’s a flavour for everyone.

To celebrate the new flavours on the big day, Bird & Blend also launches its first ever Dunkathon Challenge and competitors are invited to dunk their favourite biscuit in the new flavours. Competitors can also choose from the other 100+ flavours on its tea wall on the day too.

HOW TO TAKE PART IN THE DUNKATHON;

Good things crumb to those that wait and 25 seconds is all it’ll take to win a free cuppa* on the day.  A choice of classic biscuits will be available to choose from and the chosen biscuit will need to be dunked for 25 seconds without breaking. If the chosen biscuit has a soggy bottom and breaks, the competitor will leave with no free cuppa, but that’s just the way the cookie crumbles…

According to a study by the British BMJ last year, the Chocolate Digestive was the second most dunkable biscuit, behind the oaty hobnob, and only loses 15% of its crunchiness after being dunked…Bird & Blend challenges you to find your best dunker on the day with all the brew biccies available to choose from.
