Upmarket grocery store concept SimplyFresh, has selected Salford Quay’s Anchorage office development for its latest outlet.
Occupying space on the ground floor of Anchorage 2, SimplyFresh will provide a highly sought-after amenity for tenants and will complement the growing emphasis on wellbeing at the scheme.
SimplyFresh is a growing brand across the UK, with three stores in Greater Manchester. The retailer focuses on selling local, best of British products, as well as healthy organic foods and a core range of branded grocery lines.
Ian Murray, director at Canmoor, said: “SimplyFresh is known to position its stores in high quality amenity driven locations. This letting at Anchorage reinforces the scheme’s position as a modern, tenant-focused development, which is attracting a great deal of interest from potential new occupiers following the completion of the extensive refurbishment of Anchorage 2 earlier this year.
“Over the last few months, we have really expanded our offering for tenants, with the opening of The Quays café, wellness studio and with regular activities taking place in the co-working space, SimplyFresh adds further choice and convenience to fit our busy modern lives.”
The completion of the first phase of renovations at Anchorage has completely redefined the ground floor, creating a welcoming environment for guests as well as a vibrant break out space for tenants.
The space for SimplyFresh’s new outlet has been made possible due to the reconfiguration of the ground floor and will face out onto the quayside.
A spokesperson from SimplyFresh commented, “We look forward to becoming part of the Anchorage community and bringing our unique, high quality brand to the office occupiers and nearby residents.”
