Bacaro is setting its sights on Manchester, with their first venue on the ground floor of the icon shopping emporium Afflecks on Oldham Street early next year.

Baraco, owned by Jonathan Poole and Paddy Smith from Red & Blue restaurants, will offer small Italian plates which it has evolved into elaborate delicacies that can be combined and shared. The fresh Italian menu is built around the idea of ‘Venetian style cichetti and charcuterie dishes which will bring a true taste of Italy into the heart of Manchester.

Co-owner Jonathan Poole said: “We are delighted to be opening a new Bacaro in Manchester and feel very excited to be part of such an iconic and vibrant space in the city. Afflecks is the perfect location for our new Manchester home and we can’t wait to welcome guests to sample some of the amazing Italian delicacies we will be serving up.” 

Owned by leading regional property company Bruntwood, Afflecks boasts a unique character and is home to a wide range of retailers where alternative, independent businesses flourish.
