The picturesque grounds of Arley Hall and Gardens, and surrounding village of Great Budworth in Cheshire will be the stars of a new Disney Production which is being aired this Friday.

The eagerly-anticipated mystery adventure series, Evermoor, premieres on Disney Channel UK on 10th October 2014 at 6pm.

The brand new series introduces a host of emerging British talent including George Sear, Georgia Lock, youngest cast member 12-year-old Georgie Farmer; and 19-year-old Australian actress, singer and presenter, Naomi Sequeira.

Disney Channel has a heritage of discovering Brit and US actors including War Horse’s Jeremy Irvine, Wizards of Waverly Place’s Gregg Sulkin and Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, and Demi Lovato.

The series follows Tara Crossley (played by Sequeira), an American teen who moves from the US to Evermoor, a beautiful but isolated village on the edge of some very creepy moors in middle England. Whilst Tara’s famous novelist mum and step-dad are busy unpacking at Evermoor Manor, Tara and her brother Jake, and her British step-siblings Seb and Bella, try to adjust to life in their new home. It’s not long before danger, mystery and intrigue unfurls and Tara and Seb have to unite to save their new home and their family’s new start in England.

The hall, an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style and stands on the site where the Warburton family built the first Arley Hall in 1470, having owned the land since before 1200.

It’s gardens are considered some of the finest in the country.
