Start these frosty winter mornings the Alpine way with some of the new Royale breakfast dishes from Albert’s Schloss Cook Haus on Peter Street, Manchester. The new offering will be available to enjoy seven days a week, from a new earlier opening time of 9am until 12pm.

Das new menu includes the Kroissant Royale; a fresh, haus-baked croissant with lashings of sweet slow cooked onions, melted gouda cheese, Burford Brown fried eggs, shallots and chives, with a choice of smoked back bacon, Schloss famous bratwurst, or Moving Mountains vegan sausage.

Two other new additions include the Salmon Royale and Spicy Mushroom Royale; both served on Haus-pide bread with Burford Brown poached eggs and hollandaise, the former featuring delicious Ugie smoked salmon and latter adding a kick with chilli and molasses roast oyster mushrooms.

You can now ‘Go Royale’ with Schloss’ klassic Cook Haus breakfast, which means a double helping of bratwurst and bacon for and extra £4, to add to your Burford Brown egg, roasted portobello mushroom, baked beans, hash brown, roast tomato and Pain de Mie toast.

New lighter bites include Haus granola, featuring Greek yoghurt, seasonal fruit compote, cinnamon and roasted seeds.

Existing menu favourites, Turkish Eggs, Haus Pastries and sweet and savoury pancakes remain on the seasonal menu.

Whether you are keen to keep a clear head or fancy a tipple there are plenty of drink options, from classic liveners like Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini, to Schloss hot schokolade and freshly squeezed limonata.
