A Taste of Honey, the Didsbury based Deli on Burton Road has announced it will be expanding its range of CBD infused and hemp homemade dishes, made fresh daily.
Said to be the ‘superfood’ of 2020, CBD is known for its unique nutritional properties as well as medicinal, helping with relaxation and pain relief, nausea- and anxiety-relief. Hemp is also a superfood due to its unique nutritional profile and is carbon negative.
CBD oil can be taken on its own, but Taste of Honey owner, Penny Lynch, has worked alongside Taste of Honey chefs to create a range of tasty dishes, cakes, smoothies and teas that work with the flavours created by CBD oil and hemp.
The selection of delicious, flavoursome dishes that have been added to the menu includes a range of Hulled Hemp Seed Salads with Organic Hemp Oil, Bruschetta Hemp Flour Flat Bread with Fresh Tomatoes and a HSO Dressing and a Lemon Haze Glaze Chicken infused with CBD Oil.
For a sweet choice, dishes available include a Pineapple Express Upside Cake infused with terpenes and terpene infused Biscotti Ice Cream.
The deli also offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that are infused with CBD including a CBD infused Espresso Martini, a selection of fresh soft juice drinks and CBD infused tea.
Focused on organic and fresh food offerings, A Taste of Honey also stocks Green Times brewing who are committed to delivering organic beer options as well as focusing on sustainability with for every 12 beers purchased a tree will be planted.
The deli, open seven days a week provides homemade and locally sourced produce to the Didsbury area, including homemade dishes such as cakes, scotch eggs, pies and pastries, meals for the family with whole rotisserie chicken suppers, as well as pantry essentials such as eggs, milk and veg from local suppliers.
