After a critically acclaimed, award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Manchester based Kill the Beast’s delightfully horrid comedy returns to The Studio at The Lowry from Wed 26 Oct – Sat 29 Oct.

Winner of The Stage Edinburgh Award 2016, the critically acclaimed neon comedy adventure combines original music, beautiful costumes and innovative projection mapping.

Kill the Beast are Associate Artists of The Lowry; made up of Macclesfield born Clem Garritty, Warrington born, Manchester based Natasha Hodgson who plays June and Manchester based Zoe Roberts who plays Lexxie, David Cummings who plays Brambles and Oliver Jones who plays Devlin, all met at Warwick University.

Don’t Wake The Damp is an 80s inspired monster comedy adventure, a tale of a crumbling tower block set for destruction, and the residents that discover a terrible monster lurking within it. Think The Power Rangers meets The League of Gentlemen, with John Carpenter’s The Thing thrown in for good measure.

Combining dual passions for dark comedy and physical theatre, Kill the Beast bring a truly unique blend of beautiful visuals, amazing costumes, original music, animated projection and wickedly black humour. They are currently Associate Artists at The Lowry Theatre in Salford – re-locating to Manchester in order to enjoy the opportunities afforded to artists in the North West.

Previously chosen as a Top Act by the BBC, and with a raft of 4 and 5 star reviews under their neon utility belts, Kill the Beast will be bringing this show to The Lowry on Wed 26 Oct – Sat 29 Oct.
