Welcome to Zymshire…

A hidden valley just outside of the city centre – that literally no one knew was there – could be Manchester’s best location for a socially distanced wedding.

As the government is looking at changing the regulations to allow outdoor weddings, the owners of Manchester’s first gin distillery – Zymurgorium – are offering their 200 acre farm as the perfect outdoor hidden hideaway venue.

From wildflower pastures to ancient woodland the site has everything a bride and groom could want.

The farm which is just off the M60, on the outskirts of the Peak district national park, is staggeringly beautiful and almost entirely hidden from civilisation.

The owners are offering the site completely free of charge to anyone who has lost a venue for a wedding in 2020 or 2021.

Anyone wanting to use the site will need some imagination and to bring in their own infrastructure until the site is developed but it is a fantastic option for someone looking to do something special in the new norm.

Aaron Darke, owner of Zymurgorium, said; “We have been struck by so many people telling us that they cant have the wedding of their dreams anymore because of COVID-19 and the closure of so many venues. I have spoken to a few who have lost their deposits and we would love to help anyone in this situation. We have loads of space and the farm would make a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor wedding.”Anyone wanting to take up the kind offer should get in touch on 0161 5498994. They will need to show that they have lost a venue and a deposit to quality for free hire.
