Salford based Betfred have announced that they will commence operations in Spain as part of its ongoing expansion strategy.
The betting operation with over 50 years’ experience is operating over 1600 high street shops in Britain and a rapidly increasing online business.
The bookmaker has been granted licences to operate online sportsbook and casino.
Betfred Group Chief Operating Officer Mark Stebbings said,
“This is an exciting opportunity for Betfred and the Spanish licence is part of our ongoing expansion strategy. We believe we bring the necessary expertise but also heritage and trust to this expanding market.”
Spanish based Optima will provide the player account management and sports betting system and Betfred’s Spanish Business will operate from a new office in Ceuta.
