80-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Shaw last night
The incident happened on Beal Lane around 9.00pm say police who believe suggest that the vehicle (white Hyundai) was travelling westbound along Beal Lane approaching the junction with Duke Street when the pedestrian fell into the passing car.
The driver remained at the scene and no arrests were made.
GMP’s serious collision investigation unit (SCIU) are appealing to the public for any further information in regard to this incident.
