A 46 year old man will appear in court today charged with grievous bodily harm and theft after a 63 year old man was knocked down after his car was stolen in Ashton Under Lyne on Friday morning.
Jackson Ray Bogart of Ladbrooke Road, Ashton-under-Lyne has been remanded to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 45-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released with no further action.
The 63 year old man remains in hospital in a critical condition.
