A man from Lincoln has been charged in connection with the death of Peter Cornwell during a burglary in Heywood two weeks ago

Ahman Mirza aged 35 of Norris Street  has been charged with three counts of attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, one count of violent disorder and one count of possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.

48 year old Peter Cordwell suffered what is believed to have been a medical episode during the burglary just off Manchester Road on the 28th October.
