A Prestwich man has appeared in court in Manchester charged with forty eight counts relating to online grooming of underage girls

Daniel Berry aged 31 of Bannerman Avenue, appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court after being charged on Friday 6 March 2020 with 17 counts of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity with no penetration.

10 counts of causing a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.

Seven counts of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity with penetration.

Five counts of distributing an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child.

Four counts of making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child.
Two counts of causing or inciting a girl aged under 13 to engage in sexual activity with no penetration.
Two counts of causing or inciting a girl aged under 13 to engage in sexual activity with penetration
One count of possessing an extreme pornographic image or images portraying an act which threatened life

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday 3 April
