Police are investigating after 30-year-old man was found with stab wounds in Burnage in the early hours of this morning.
The stabbing took place around midnight on Arbor Avenue
Officers and Paramedics attended and a 30-year-old man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where his injuries are now described as stable.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident but are appealing for the public’s help with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Mark Davis from GMP’s City of Manchester team said: “My thoughts are with the man, I hope he is able to make a full and speedy recovery.
“I am appealing for anyone who has any information or witnessed what exactly happened in this vicious attack, to get in touch.
“Knives destroy lives and they are not welcome on our streets.”
