Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced its biggest ever Winter Sun programme for Winter 19/20 from Manchester Airport, with demand for sunshine during the long British winter fuelling another year of growth for the leading leisure airline and package holiday specialist.
With 630,000 seats on sale to 14 sunshine destinations next winter, this represents a capacity increase of 10% – over 60,000 additional seats when compared to this winter. This biggest ever winter sun programme includes more seats to popular favourites such as Spain, Portgual, the Balearics and the Canary Islands, as well as additional capacity to Turkey and Cyprus as more and more local holidaymakers see their appeal as winter getaways.
Key highlights on the company’s Winter Sun programme for 19/20 from Manchester Airport include:
WINTER SUN
Canary Islands: More services and seats to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura with over 260,000 seats on sale and up to 22 weekly services across the four islands
Mainland Spain: Over 150,000 seats on sale, with up to six services per week to Malaga and daily services Alicante during peak periods
Portugal: More choice and flexibility, with up to six weekly services (more than 50,000 seats) to Faro (Algarve) and two weekly services (more than 20,000 seats) to Madeira
Majorca (Palma): 22% capacity increase means three weekly services and over 30,000 seats on sale
Cyprus: More seats to Larnaca and Paphos (now year round) next winter, with over 40,000 seats on sale to Cyprus
Malta: Extended winter service with more flights during peak periods including Christmas and Easter
Winter Turkish Delight! Now up to four weekly services to Antalya meaning over 30,000 seats on sale – a capacity increase of more than 65%. Longer season means that flights now operate year-round to Antalya from Manchester for the first time
