Droylsden made it two wins in a row with a comprehensive victory over Scarborough.

With one change from the win at Ossett Town two weeks ago with Ben Hampson in for the suspended Ed Dryden, the Bloods got off to a terrific start after just three minutes when Domaine Rouse fired into the top corner from the edge of the area latching onto a Ben Barber cross.

However the away side equalised when former Blood Fernando Moke dribbled through the defence to slot home after seventeen minutes

Minutes later the Bloods were back  in front.Billy Hasler Cregg beating the Scarborough offside and rounding keeper Weaver to score.

After the break Droylsden took control.Skipper James Hampson made it three after great play on the left wing by Billy Hasler Cregg with half an hour remaining and Hasler Cregg could have made it four minutes later only to be denied by a great save from Weaver

But on the 66th minute centre half Lee O’Brien put the game out of reach of the opposition firing home from a corner and substiute Mike Pino had a chance to make it five denied again by the Boro keeper.

Scarborough scored a consolation goal in injury time through Fox.

Droylsden go into the festive season with fixtures away at Ratcliffe on Boxing Day and hosting Mossley on Bank Holiday Monday full of confidence and move up to 15th in the table with 23 points.
