The Bank of England is changing the design of its banknotes, replacing images of historical figures with depictions of animals.
In the new series, the images of Winston Churchill, artist William Turner, and mathematician Alan Turing will be replaced. Instead, British wildlife representatives such as hedgehogs and badgers will take their place.
The design change was made following public consultations, with 44,000 people participating.
According to the results, the theme of nature received the most support, while historical figures ranked third.
