Three men were arrested and multiple suspected stolen cars seized this morning by police
The arrests weee part of an investigation into a burglary series which saw several homes targeted in Gorton and Levenshulme across January.
Police officers visit four addresses as part of their enquiries – one in Cheshire, one in West Yorkshire, and two in Greater Manchester, in the areas of Wythenshawe and Stretford
shop was located, in which cars were having their parts removed to be sold on for illicit gain.
Two men, both 26, and one man, 36, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary as part of initial enquiries. They remain in custody for questioning.
Across the searches, eight vehicles were recovered on suspicion of being stolen. The appropriate arrangements will be made to assess their state and if they can be returned.
