It is the most wonderful time of the year at intu Trafford Centre, with plenty of festive fun to be had.
Delight in a snowy winter wonderland as the iconic Coca Cola Christmas truck stops off outside, enjoy an enchanting live orchestra performance of The Snowman then snuggle up in the Alpine Village with a warming mulled wine or hot chocolate.
Furthermore, from 9 December it is late night shopping until 23:00, so you can tick everything off your list whilst enjoying a Christmas day out with your friends and family.
The Snowman – 6 December
This much-loved Christmas classic will be brought to life by a 26-piece live orchestra, with the film shown on the big screen in The Orient. The free performances are at 17:00 and 18:30.
Coca Cola Christmas Truck – 6 & 7 December
From 12:00 -19:00, the iconic Coca Cola Christmas Truck will be parked outside the Great Hall. In a snowy winter wonderland setting, visitors will be able to enjoy festive photo moments, win Christmas prizes and enjoy a 150ml Coca-Cola zero sugar to get them in the Christmas spirit.
Peter Rabbit Christmas Grotto – open now until 24 December
Beatrix Potter’s woodland wonderland is brought to life by actors playing the part of Peter Rabbit and friends, who will share their Christmas traditions with you and your family as you embark on a journey to meet Santa. Book here.
Alpine Village and Big Wheel – open now until 5 January
Snuggle up by the fire pit, enjoy festive entertainment and sip warming hot chocolate at the Alpine Village. Tuck into tasty, seasonal treats including Yorkshire pudding wraps, German bratwurst, halloumi fries, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Take a spin on the Victorian Carousel or Big Wheel, which is 55m high and has spectacular views. Find it outside the Great Hall until 5 January.
Christmas Wreath Making – selected dates until 15 December
Create your own gorgeous Christmas Wreath with local florist Ixia Flowers using the highest quality materials, whilst listening to festive music and enjoying a mulled wine or glass of Prosecco.
The sessions will take place in the Alpine Village. Spaces are limited so booking is advised here.
Storytime with Santa at Selfridges – 16:00 every Sunday, 8 – 22 December
’Twas a Sunday before Christmas and up in the store, children gather round to make props and more. They tell The Night Before Christmas to Santa himself, then leave with a treat and a photo taken by an elf. Book here.
Kids’ DJ workshops at Selfridges – 22 December
If your little ones love music but don’t like to sing, at Selfridges they might have just the thing. They’ll play some cool beats and take the decks for a spin, for an early Christmas present that’s sure to raise a grin. Book here.

If you haven’t visited yet, the Upside Down House is a fantastic optical illusion attraction offering amazing photo opportunities for all the family – and it’s been given a festive makeover, for the perfect Christmas selfie!
Christmas Music on the Malls
Get into the spirit of the season as local brass bands and choirs perform live throughout the centre throughout December, putting a spring in your step as you do your Christmas shopping.
Christmas Bricktacular at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre – on now until 5 January
Take part in a scavenger hunt in the winter wonderland themed MINILAND®, build a cool decoration and journey to LEGO® Santa’s Grotto. Write a letter to LEGO® Santa and receive a special reply in the post before heading into the brick-built Grotto to have your photo taken with the brickman himself. Book online here.
Meet the Merry Mermaids at SEA Life – selected dates in December
Marvel at real-life mermaids as they join resident Green Sea Turtles, along with a menagerie of Cow Nosed Rays and Blacktip Reef Sharks in the ocean tank, for a festive fiesta. If guests catch their eye, they may even get a Mer-Mazing Christmas greeting! Book now here.
