Head to The Trafford Centre to discover new launches, exciting leisure activities, events, and Easter fun this April.

From the centre’s outdoor Spring Escape, the re-opening of celebrity hotspot Oh My Glaze, the launch of Gandey’s Circus and a 3-day empowering beauty extravaganza event; escape the ordinary this spring with a fun-filled April at Europe’s leading shopping and leisure destination.

EMPOWERING BEAUTY EVENT

Beauty Unfiltered: 29th April – Sunday 1 st May

Trafford Centre will host an extra special beauty takeover; the first of its kind for the centre and the first internal event of this scale since 2019.

The Beauty Unfiltered event will house international beauty and wellness brands to shop, explore and experience, with a NEW temporary beauty studio located in Orient Way, supported by beauty giants Selfridges and John Lewis.

Other brands confirmed to appear with pop-ups are Charlotte Tilbury, Boots
and Therapie. The centrepiece of the event will be the uplifting ‘beauty tribe’ showcasing a powerful performance from the glamorous Globe Girls and a host of diverse talent which will take place around the centre’s iconic Main Dome to encourage and inspire visitors to feel confident and comfortable in their own unique, beautiful skin.

To celebrate the lead-up to religious holiday Eid, the centre will come alive with festivities from 6pm with beautiful harp music floating through the malls, henna art workshops and an explosive performance combining traditional instruments, music, costume, and dance.

NEW OPENINGS

Oh My Glaze (OMG): 9th April

Popular street food stall, co-founded by Scott Graham and TV Star Adam Thomas, Oh My Glaze is re-opening its kitchen at Trafford Centre just in time for the Easter period. After a huge success last year, the dynamic duo is back with a bang right outside The Orient and ready to serve their flaming menu to the Greater Manchester population.

Customers can expect a mouth-watering menu which includes chicken wings, burgers, wraps, halloumi bites, Cajun fries, and Oh My Glaze’s infamous fiery sauces.

H&M HOME: 14th April
The highly anticipated H&M ‘world-leading’ Trafford Centre store is finally complete, the new concept will be the first of its kind in the UK, featuring an open façade with no windows, creating a welcoming, modern, and meaningful shopping experience where style, creativity and culture are celebrated.

The new store will also offer a garment collection and recycling service, the world’s biggest of its kind, allowing customers to donate any unwanted clothes and textiles, by any brand, whilst shopping in-store. All donated items are recycled with 0% going to landfill.

EASTER ACTIVITIES

Spring Escape: Vintage funfair l until 24th April

Running until 24th April, Trafford Centre’s Spring Escape event features delicious treats from Oh My Glaze and retro American candy giants, Kingdom of Sweets. More information and ticket booking here.

The vintage funfair will bring fun for all ages from tiny tots to thrill-seekers including a log flume, waves winger, teacups, bumper cars, hook a duck, a fun house, bungee trampolines, and more entertainment.

Superhero Meet & Greets at the Funfair: 9th – 18th April

The perfect activity over Easter to entertain the little ones, from Saturday 9th April Trafford Centre is welcoming a princess and superhero appearance for meet and greets between 1pm – 3pm at the outdoor funfair.

Denver the Dinosaur will be in attendance across 15th, 16th 17th April between 1pm – 6pm. To finish the superhero festivities, come down to visit Optimus Prime 18th April between 1pm – 6pm. Entry fee of £3.50 per person.

Gandey’s Circus returns

Gandey’s Circus returns this Easter with its sensational new production “ROAR!” in support of The Manchester Royal Children’s Hospital. An international cast of over 30 artistes and live musicians provide world-class 90-minute entertainment for the entire family, live from the heated theatre big top. Hamley’s Easter Egg Hunt: 14th and 16th April

Join Hamley’s this easter for an extra special Easter egg hunt, ideal fun for children. Make sure to look all over, above, and behind. There may even be some prizes! Come and join the hunt, do you think you can find all six? Don’t forget to give them their ticks! More information here.

Paradise Island: Easter Egg Hunt until 18th April

Customers are challenged to find 8 different coloured eggs scattered around each course. Participants will be given an egg hunt slip at the pay booth upon arrival and must tick GDPR acceptance in order for their entry to be added to our prize draw. Correct entries will be entered into a prize draw to win a 1-month unlimited pass for 4 people and a special chocolatey Easter treat.
