The luminosity of colour inside Arboria is simply due to the light shining through coloured plastic – plastic whose individual pieces have been cut and glued together by hand!
Arboria’s theme is trees and is revealed in ways to be discovered. The structures inside show the inspiration of Gothic cathedrals and Islamic architecture – all governed by the principle of pneumatic structures.
Once submerged in Arboria the sound is that of an Ecuadorian Cloud Forest, recorded there for biodiversity.
Once inside, you’re free to explore the dazzling maze of winding paths and soaring domes.
