The family of a man who sadly died in a fatal collision on the East Lancashire Road last Friday have issued heartfelt tributes.
The accident happened junction of East Lancashire Road and Old Clough Lane, Worsley, at around 2pm last Friday when there was a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
A man in his 40s, who was riding the motorbike, sadly died and our thoughts are with his family and friends. He has now been named as 43-year-old David Connah.
In a tribute, David’s partner said: “Dave, my fiancé, my best friend, stepdad to my daughter, was took away from me and her our family and all our friends. He was absolute gentleman and loved by so many people.
“He would light up any room with his big smile and would do anything for anyone no matter how small. You are going to be missed so, so much. It’s left a massive hole in our lives; it will never be the same without you around.
“I love you Dave so much, sleep tight babe.”
David’s children said: “Even after death, we will always find a way to ride again.
“Your loving children.”
David’s twin sister said: “We are truly heartbroken by the tragic death of our beloved David. He had everything to live for.
“A much-loved son and brother. We take great comfort knowing you’re back with your mum now.
“Thank you for the outpouring of condolences from not only friend and family, but strangers and the biker community that adored David.”
