TransPennine Express  is set to introduce a new timetable next month with services to run all night to and from Manchester Airport.

The addition of eight new services will mean that there will be a train roughly every hour between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport all day, every day.

Alongside the rest of the rail industry, the train operator will introduce a new timetable from Sunday 17 May.

The move is aimed at improving connectivity for passengers travelling early in the morning or late at night, particularly those flying in and out of the UK’s third‑busiest airport.

TPE will also introduce an additional weekday call at Dewsbury on the 08.05am Leeds to Manchester Piccadilly service. The stop is new to the timetable and is expected to support students and commuters travelling into Manchester, offering greater flexibility for early‑morning journeys.
