Tim Hortons, the iconic Canadian food and drink brand has today confirmed that Greater Manchester will be opening its eighth restaurant to the public on 30th May.
Both die-hard fans and Tim Hortons’ first timers will now be able to get their hands on its famous coffee, freshly baked donuts, and delicious meals, in the city centre, following the official opening from 7am.
Located right in the heart of suburban Manchester on Market Street, the first customer in the queue at the city centre restaurant will be awarded with free drinks for a whole year (a prize worth a staggering £3,100). The brand will also give away a free breakfast meal to its first 100 customers.
Tim Hortons will also run a series of giveaways including free drinks and donuts for those who activate their Tim Hortons®’ digital wallet. Guests will simply need to scan the QR code found at the restaurant or visit this link via their mobile to activate the rewards wallet.
Famed for its Canadian charm, the new restaurant will be open from 6am till midnight, seven days a week. The menu will feature best-selling items, including Timbits, Iced Capps, Freshly Baked Donuts and Tims Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The launch comes following the brand’s exploration into the perfect city centre location, with Manchester coming out on top thanks to its perfect mix of city and cultural buzz, student activity, families, tourism and the influx of local jobs. Since the opening of the first Manchester restaurant at Bury Mill Gate back in December 2017, Tim Hortons has provided over 400 jobs for Mancunians across each of its eight locations, offering a combination of full-time and part-time roles with impressive progression and training opportunities.
