Three men from Tameside have been handed lengthy prison sentences after committing a series of robberies.
Aron McGinn aged 39, of Diamond Close, Ashton-under-Lyne, Ryan Stone aged 38 of Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne; and Jordan Bayley aged 26, of Whittles Avenue, Denton, all pleaded guilty to robbery with McGinn also pleading guilty to possession of a knife.
McGinn was jailed for 10 years and four months while Stone was sentenced to six years and nine months and Bayley three years and 10 months.
In April, a homeowner was threatened with a knife after his car alarm was activated when the window was smashed and he confronted three men. A necklace was stolen.
In the second incident, a male victim was made to drive to a cashpoint and withdraw £50, while a day later a taxi driver was attacked and dragged from his car.
All three attacks took place in Ashton-under-Lyne.
