Three people have been charged after yesterday’s dawn raids across Greater Manchester investigating the supply of drugs and firearms have charged three men

Michael Sierotko ,32, of Markham Close, Hyde, charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and conspiracy to supply a firearm;

Oliver Harrison 32, of Hawthorn Drive, Glossop, charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, conspiracy to supply a firearm, and possession with intent to supply class B drugs;

Peter Downs 44, of Rochdale Road, Bacup, charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B, and conspiracy to supply a firearm.

Officers from our Tactical Aid Unit – along with support from GMP Tameside, Lancashire, and Derbyshire constabularies – arrested the men before dawn on Tuesday 16 November.

They are the 200th arrests as part of the NCA-led law enforcement operation – codenamed Venetic – investigating the encrypted communication network, EncroChat.

A 25-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs has been released under investigation.
