The Environment Agency has issued three flood alerts across the region this morning as rain once again returns to Greater Manchester

Lower River Irwell catchment area where there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads around the Rivers Irk and Medlock, Wince and Worsley Brooks and their tributaries.

The Middle River Mersey catchment including areas near Bramhall, Stockport, Sale, Altrincham and Urmston where there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads around Micker, Cringle, Sinderland and Poynton Brooks and their tributaries.

River Bollin catchment, including Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Bollington where there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads around the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries.
