World-renowned contemporary dance company Rambert has announced This is Rambert, its major centenary programme for 2026, marking 100 years of groundbreaking dance with a bold new triple bill touring internationally and across the UK with dates at Salford’s Lowry this July

The programme comes to Salford this summer as part of a landmark anniversary tour, with performances showcasing new works from some of the most exciting choreographic voices working today, including (LA)HORDE, Emma Evelein, and Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber.

Alongside the performances, Rambert will also host a special Future 100 celebration event in Manchester, bringing audiences closer to the company and its artists as it looks ahead to its next century.

Under Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, the company continues to push contemporary dance forward with work that is visually striking, urgent and culturally relevant.

Benoit Swan Pouffer, Artistic Director of Rambert mentions “For me, the most exciting thing about this moment is that Rambert has never felt more alive. A hundred years in, and we’re still led by curiosity and by artists who see the world differently. The choreographers in This is Rambert each bring a pulse that belongs to right now, and our dancers respond with everything they are. That’s what this company has always been about: catching the rhythm of the future before it arrives and inviting audiences to be part of that with us.”
