f you would like to get your company moving, motivated and working as a team to raise money for an amazing cause then the team at the Didsbury Business Games want to hear from you.
Following 2 successful years and raising over £21,000 for The Christie charity, the Didsbury Business Games is back at the end of April.
The aim, as always, is to have fun, enjoy some healthy activity, connect with other local companies and raise as much money as possible for The Christie charity.
Registration for the Games is open now. Even if you don’t have your full team lined up, you can still sign up. For most events you will require 6 people to take part. You can of course choose from a pool of players so you can swap people in and out and get as many people as you want involved from your company. Registration is painless and can be done in a matter of minutes.
Every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks local companies will battle it out over a range of events. This year’s events include ten pin bowling, a treasure hunt around the Didsbury area, short tennis and bowls as well as a sports day event, an evening of team challenges and a quiz night to end the games off.
The Didsbury Business Games will once again be supporting The Christie charity. This year’s focus will be the redevelopment of the Paterson Building. This project aims to rebuild the old Paterson Building (damaged by fire in 2017) as a state-of-the-art research centre, partnering with the University of Manchester and Cancer Research UK. The aim of the 2019 Games is to raise £14,000 through fundraising. Every year the funds raised by teams competing in the Didsbury Business Games make a massive difference to all that goes on at The Christie.
Places for the Didsbury Business Games are limited so please don’t miss your chance to compete with Didsbury’s finest. If you would like to know more about registering a team or fundraising for the Paterson Building please visit didsburybusinessgames.co.uk or email firstname.lastname@example.org
