Teenage Dream and The Font are teaming up for an International Women’s Day special on 6th March for raise money for Pankhurst Trust.
Teenage Dream is a guilty pleasures night playing the best in power ballads and cringeworthy chart toppers from the 80s, 90s and 00s. For the International Women’s Day Special there will be a focus around showcasing the strongest females, past and present, in the music industry.
During the night, alongside their usual quirky affordable cocktails, The Font mixologists will be mixing up three special cocktails – Miss Americana, Cup of Ambition and Lemonade. £1 from each of these cocktails will be donated to The Pankhurst Trust.
In addition to the special cocktails, there will be opportunities throughout the night to donate to the charity in collection buckets.
Bekki Connolly, DJ at Teenage Dream, said: “Music has always been a great way for women to express themselves and their strengths so combining International Women’s Day with a musical element was a no brainer!”
She added: “The Pankhurst Trust is a fantastic cause. From its dedication to spreading the word of the inspirational historical figures who helped women to find their voices, to the support given to women in need, the impact that the charity has is invaluable to the community. This made it the obvious fundraising choice for such an important event in equality calendar.”
The event is free entry and for over 18s only – ID will be required to enter
