Oldham Council have launched a brand new video, bringing its town centre transformation plans to life.
The fly-through film outlines what they plan to do and where – including the redevelopment of Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre, the creation of a brand-new town centre park and a dedicated cultural quarter with new theatre.
Cllr Arooj Shah, Oldham Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic and Social Reform, said: “We have lots of exciting plans for Oldham town centre but we know it can be difficult to visualise just how everything will come together.
“We have created this new video to put everything into perspective; to show you our major projects and how buildings and places could look in the future.
“Some of the changes will start to take shape really soon, including the redevelopment of Spindles, which will see building work start on site early next year.
