Stockport station reopened after suspicious item found to be empty suitcase

Stockport train station has been on lockdown after a suspicious package was discovered earlier this evening with no trains running thru the starion

The device’ has since been examined and found to be an empty suitcase, and the cordons are being lifted say police and all lines running thru the station have now been lifted
