With Mancunians, Brits and the world facing uncertainty at the moment, a new mural in the heart of the city has provided locals with hope and reassurance.

Created by local illustrator, spray-painter, glitter-ator and mural maker, MOZE (Becki Miller), the striking piece of street art shares some words of encouragement in true Manc style.

A simple message, ‘THIS TOO SHALL PASS’, is wrapped around the colourful letters L-O-V-E, and overlaid on a leafy backdrop. A small signpost is also incorporated into the design, reminding locals to stay safe.

Centre Director Mark Schofield said: “We love what’s been created here at The Great Northern. We’re all struggling and trying to finds ways forward, and her work gives us all hope. In Manchester we stick together and support one another, we always have and always will, so let’s continue to do this over the coming weeks.”
