Insight Analysis will use Inc & Co’s professional expertise and Fresh Thinking Group’s funding to further expand their services and network of sports clientele.

Manchester’s digital collective Inc & Co has acquired yet another business for its portfolio of creative enterprises in need of its expertise. The latest addition, Insight Analysis, is a world-leading data-analysis firm in the sports industry. Inc & Co will enhance Insight Analysis’ data-driven services by implementing pioneering technology and strategic business initiatives to achieve unrivalled results for athletes, coaches, and governing bodies.

Inc & Co is rapidly growing and has welcomed a host of businesses to the collective over recent months. Insight Analysis marks the holding company’s third acquisition within just one week, following the addition of MyLife Digital at the end of July.

‘Bringing Insight Analysis into the Inc & Co collective means that we can continue to offer a world-leading sports service package to customers,’ says Dave Antrobus, Technical Director of Inc & Co. Dave is an award-winning software specialist who has developed e-commerce platforms for some of the world’s biggest brands. He will co-ordinate Insight Analysis’ new technical solutions and manage their team according to individual strengths and appropriate technologies.

The independent capital investment firm Fresh Thinking Group (FTG) will fund the acquisition. Dave Antrobus founded FTG in 2018 with private equity and distressed M&A investor Scott Dylan, whose financial backing and investment expertise are invaluable to Inc & Co.

‘We are very excited about the acquisition of Insight Analysis – the opportunity to learn from other like-minded digital businesses is only going to enhance our offering to our elite sport clients.’ says Scott Dylan, Founder and Managing Partner of Fresh Thinking Group.

Inc & Co’s Growing Network of Sports Enterprises

Inc & Co also recently acquired Skylab, a digital agency for sporting brands. Insight Analysis and Skylab are set to share expertise and business tools under Inc & Co’s guidance and support. Fresh Thinking Group will fund both business transformations, financing research and development and capital injections.

‘I am really looking forward to seeing how our latest acquisitions compliment each other,’ says Scott Dylan.

‘Bringing Insight Analysis into the Inc & Co collective means that we can continue to offer a world-leading sports service package to customers like the LTA, the FA, the RFU, and British Sailing,’ adds Jack Mason, Group CEO of Inc & Co. ‘I am particularly excited to see the synergy between Insight Analysis and our recently acquired digital sports agency Skylab, as they both possess specialist skillsets in sports. We know that the leading digital platforms will become increasingly involved in sport, and the growth of the sector has accelerated in a turbulent 2020. Now is the time when sport’s governing bodies, leagues, and clubs are analysing how to navigate their way through the crisis brought about by the coronavirus pandemic and are recognising the growing importance of data.’
