Manchester’s youngest residents (and their grown-ups) are invited for an afternoon of laughs and play. On 14th June, Little Wins, Big Laughs – a one-off LEGO® DUPLO ® comedy event, powered by Peanut – will be coming to the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. Parents and their toddlers are invited to an afternoon of laughter, community and creative play with LEGO DUPLO in celebration of the unforgettable (and often chaotic) ‘firsts’ of early parenthood.
Highly acclaimed, award-winning comedian, author, broadcaster and mother-of-two, Sara Pascoe, will take to the stage with a hilarious headline set that celebrates the funny and unforgettable realities of early parenthood. Supporting Sara on the starry line-up are social media comedy stars Hannah East and Matt Coyne (of Man vs Baby fame), with comedy doctorMichael Akadiri keeping everyone entertained as host.
At the heart of the experience will be the little ones. Whilst parents are enjoying a well-earned breather at the adult-only comedy show, the youngsters will be entertained through guided play in the LEGO DUPLO and LEGO Preschool Playrooms built around real IQ and EQ developmental milestones. Filled with LEGO bricks and staffed with accredited childcare professionals, the two bespoke playrooms for children aged 1-3 and 4-5, will see tots experience their own ‘firsts’. Whether building their first racing adventure using the LEGO DUPLO 3 in 1 Creative Ramps with Vehicles or creating their first wildlife world with the LEGO DUPLO Discovery Forest with Wild Animals, the sets are designed to support developmental milestones from fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to confidence and creativity.
With free entry, plenty of laughs and developmental play, Little Wins, Big Laughs is the perfect afternoon to celebrate the unforgettable firsts of early parenthood.
