A 35-year-old Sale man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and aggravated burglary following an incident that took place at the weekend in Altrincham
He was concealing a bladed weapon had gone to an address in Lloyd Gardens, Altrincham.
The victim reported that the man had knocked on the door and, when her friend opened it, he had entered her property brandishing the weapon and demanding to speak to the homeowner. He left when it became apparent the person he was seeking wasn’t in.
