Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has confirmed it will be bringing its relaxed dining experience and renowned Neapolitan pizzas to Salford for the first time, with a new restaurant opening in Monton village this autumn. To celebrate, the pizzeria is giving away 3,000 pizzas on the house and local foodies can claim there’s now at this link.
The new pizzeria, located at 237-239 Monton Road, will transform the former Bennetts Furnishers store that has been vacant since 2022, with work now officially underway. The spacious venue will mark Rudy’s 41st restaurant to date.
Since launching in Manchester’s Ancoats in 2015, Rudy’s has grown into one of the UK’s most loved pizzerias, celebrated for its light, double fermented dough and unwavering dedication to true Neopolitan craft.
Testament to its authenticity, Rudy’s is the largest organisation in the world to be accredited by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the international body that protects and promotes traditional Neapolitan pizza making.
Rudy’s has also been recognised among the World’s 50 Best Pizzeria, ranking 23rd globally for 2025. Each pizza, from the classic Margherita to the fiery Calabrese, is made to AVPN standards using traditional techniques and ingredients sourced directly from Italy.
